Students are normally invited to apply by their high school or university. But we also encourage you to apply spontaneously. Our application dossier contains all the relevant information on how to apply and what documents to submit. If you fullfil our requirements for an admission to the program of the Swiss Study Foundation (→ Requirements…), we look forward to receiving your application.

Application Procedure
After a first evaluation of the application dossiers, the eligible candidates are invited to a one-day assessment center. The assessment contains several interviews and group discussions. An admission committee, made up of benevolent assessors with different backgrounds, make the final decision. Our assessment centers take place in Switzerland’s three different linguistic regions and the three official languages. All candidates who have been at an assessment center have the possibility to ask for an individual feedback.
